Pick the door type by function, the color by site standard, and the bay count by how much equipment and battery capacity the cabinet has to hold. How to choose:

• Solid door (this product): MINIPLEX transponders and utility function cabinets. No module visibility, no dress panel needed.
• Glass door with dress panel: control panels, NDUs, and annunciators, where operators and inspectors need to see displays and module status.
• Separate components: the same configuration as the 2975-9452 can be ordered as the 2975-9440 platinum 3-bay box plus the 4100-2116 platinum 3-bay solid door. The combined part number ships as a single package.

Installation notes

The cabinet wall-mounts surface or semi-flush. For semi-flush work, the box has knockout screw and nail holes, stud alignment markers for 4 in. (102 mm) and 6 in. (152 mm) studs, and the 2975-9813 platinum trim (1-7/16 in. wide) finishes the reveal. Conduit entries are field-cut on the smooth, unembossed surfaces of the box.

The door can be hinged on either side. Plan clearance for the swing: 90 degrees of opening at minimum protrusion, or 180 degrees when 3 in. (76 mm) or more of the cabinet is exposed from the wall. Depth with the door attached is 11-11/16 in. (296 mm) total reference, with the door itself at 4-3/4 in. (121 mm).

Fit one power distribution module per box (4100-0634 for 120 VAC, 4100-0635 for 220/230/240 VAC) and place batteries in the bottom bay; a 50 Ah set requires the 4100-0650 battery shelf.
